Ever wonder why weight loss with God and the whole method actually works?
Let me break it down for you! 💪🏼
At some point, we all have those days when we want to eat differently from our diet, right? It's called a cheat day, but I hate that term! It implies sneaking around and breaking the rules. Let's drop that rebellious spirit, shall we?
Instead of cheat days, let's focus on taking ownership and being responsible for what we eat. We should never use the word cheat in a positive, life-giving way!
It's time to speak positive words about ourselves and our health journey. 🙌🏼
So, what are the principles of Weight Loss With God?
- First, invite the Holy Spirit into your health journey. Seek God's guidance on your weight goals and what you should be putting in your body. It's all about building a relationship with God as we take care of our bodies. 💖
- Next, practice intuitive eating. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full. It's as simple as that! No need to clean your plate or overeat. Learn to savor your favorite foods first, and take small bites to fully enjoy your meals. 🍽️
- Slow down when you eat! It takes about 20 minutes for your body to feel full. So, let's ditch the TV trays and start enjoying our meals around the table with family and friends. Take time to chew and savor each bite; you'll appreciate your food so much more! 😋
- Remember, portion control is key. Start by cutting your food in half until you get a better sense of your ideal portion sizes. And don't forget, your taste buds can't tell the difference between big or small bites, so opt for smaller, more satisfying mouthfuls. 🥗
- When you're not hungry but find yourself tempted to eat, reach for the Word of God instead. Let Jesus be your bread of life! Fill your soul with His Word, distract your mind, and let your appetite subside. And always remember, you are responsible for your health choices! 💪🏼
Let's speak life and kindness over ourselves in this journey, leaving behind the negative connotations of cheat days. Join me in embracing Weight Loss With God as we level up our eating and make wise choices to honor our bodies. You've got this! 💖✨
