If you’re over 40 and feeling like everything’s shifting—your body, your emotions, your energy, even your purpose—I see you. I’ve walked through the brain fog, the hot flashes, the tears for no reason, and the frustration when nothing seems to work anymore.
Here’s what I want you to know: this isn’t the end—it’s an upgrade.
My Story: From Struggle to Thriving
My Story
Not so long ago, I was right where you might be now.
In my early 40s, I started to feel…off. My eczema flared up worse than ever, pounds piled on even though I was running, and my moods were unpredictable. I wasn’t exactly depressed, but there was a heavy fog I couldn’t shake — and my fuse was so short I hardly recognized myself.
When Nothing Was Working
Every day felt like I was slipping further away. I tried every diet, supplement, and workout I could think of, but nothing was working. I told myself I just needed to do more, push harder, be better — but the more I pushed, the more I unraveled.
My thoughts grew dark, my confidence crumbled, and old wounds I thought were long buried bubbled back up. I didn’t see it then, but menopause wasn’t just changing my body — it was exposing hurts I had never fully healed.
A Turning Point
My breakthrough came when I joined a Freedom group and went to a conference that helped me face those deep emotional wounds. I realized this wasn’t just a physical battle — it was spiritual and emotional, too.
I leaned into prayer and fasting, started speaking truth instead of bottling things up, and began nourishing my body with real food and targeted supplements that supported me in this new season.
Becoming Who God Created Me to Be
Most importantly, I stopped trying to get back to who I used to be — and started embracing who God was calling me to become.
Today, I’m wiser, stronger, and more grounded than ever. I’m still growing, still unfolding, but I’m no longer just surviving — I’m thriving.
Why I’m Here for You
I know this season can feel like your world is spinning out of control, but you are not alone, and you are not losing your mind. There is hope, and your best days are ahead.
I’m here to walk with you, encourage you, and help you come through this season more vibrant, whole, and free than you ever imagined.
I’ve been married to my husband for 33 years, and together we’ve raised three incredible kids — two of whom are now married. It’s wild how menopause can hit right as your kids start leaving the nest, bringing with it a flood of emotions, transitions, and challenges you never saw coming.
In the middle of all of that, I had to learn how to show up healthy and whole for the people I love most. That meant walking in freedom, pursuing forgiveness, getting counseling, and discovering how God uniquely wired me, my husband, and our kids — even digging into tools like the Enneagram.
Our family is active and adventurous. Every year, you’ll find us running a Turkey Trot together, hitting the slopes for some skiing, or exploring new places — usually with some good food involved!
At the heart of it all, we love Jesus, and our greatest hope is that our family’s story and legacy bring Him glory.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “Martha, I feel like you just described my life!” — you’re in the right place.
I believe God can use every part of our stories — even the messy, confusing, menopause seasons — to grow us, heal us, and help us flourish. Whether your kids are launching into adulthood, you’re navigating new roles, or you’re wondering what’s next for you, I want you to know you are not alone.
Through all of these changes, I’ve learned how to show up as a healthier version of myself — not just for my family, but for me, too. And I’d love to help you do the same.
Together, we can build habits and mindsets that help you move from surviving to truly thriving. Because your best days aren’t behind you — they’re still ahead.
